The magic of TP

Today I had a truly exciting experience of attending a TP meeting. TP, for those who don't know what it means is not 'Time Pass' but 'Tele Presence'! It's a Cisco technology which allows people from different places to attend a meeting as though they are virtually in the same meeting room.

The video quality is so sharp and good and so is the sound quality. While watching an interesting movie, once you get engrossed in the movie and don't see the people or walls around you, it feels as if you are a part of the place where the story is happening. Exactly similar to this experience is the experience of TP. As the video is real like and sharp it seems as if the other people are sitting in front across the table.

The TP technology saved me from travelling all the way from Cincinnati in Midwest to San Jose in California and the meeting went very well as the conversations happened as if across the table.

I heard that Cisco is running advertisements of this product on television in India. I am happy to have experienced the magic of TP today!
